If you want to watch current broadcast TV shows the day after they air, Hulu is irreplaceable. Shows from ABC, NBC, Fox, and FX all land here quickly. The FX originals alone (The Bear, Shogun) justify the subscription. The Live TV option at $82.99/month is steep but genuinely replaces cable if you watch sports. My main gripe is the ad-supported experience โ even at $7.99/month, the ad load feels heavier than Netflix or Disney+. The interface could also use work; finding content sometimes feels like digging through a cluttered closet.
Pros
- Next-day broadcast TV
- Excellent FX originals
- Live TV option replaces cable
- Included in Disney bundle
Cons
- Heavy ad load on basic tier
- Cluttered interface
- Live TV is expensive
