Amazon Prime Video is a strange beast. The originals are hit-or-miss but when they hit, they hit hard — The Boys, Fallout, and Reacher are all excellent. The real value is that it comes bundled with your Prime shipping subscription, so it feels free. The interface is probably the worst of all major streamers though — everything is cluttered with rental and purchase options mixed in with included content. They also started showing ads in 2024 unless you pay an extra $2.99/month, which felt like a slap in the face for existing Prime members. Thursday Night Football is a nice exclusive if you are into the NFL.
Pros
  • Included with Prime membership
  • Some excellent originals
  • Thursday Night Football
  • Large rental/purchase library
Cons
  • Worst interface of major streamers
  • Ads added to base tier
  • Originals inconsistent quality
  • Confusing free vs paid content
