Paramount+ is the most niche of the major streamers. If you are a Star Trek fan, a CBS viewer, or you follow Champions League soccer, it is essential. Otherwise, it is hard to justify keeping year-round. The Yellowstone franchise is a draw, and shows like 1923 are solid. They have been investing more in originals but the library still feels thin compared to Netflix or Max. At $7.99/month with ads or $13.99 without, it is reasonably priced. I use the rotation strategy here — subscribe when Star Trek or a specific show has a new season, binge it, then cancel until next time.
